The norms of concentration of suspended substances in the air are exceeded in the village of Vanavara of the Evenki district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. In other settlements, everything is in order, experts of Rospotrebnadzor say.

The Office of the Rospotrebnadzor in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was conducted by a study of the content of harmful pollutants in the air in the territory of Krasnoyarsk, the Boguchansky and Kezhemsky districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (Khrebtovaya, Imbar, Tagara, Belyaki), the Evenki municipal district (Tour, Baikit, Vanavar).

“Based on the results of studies of excesses of hygienic standards for the content of carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, suspended substances, formaldehyde, suspended particles of RM2.5, PM10 fractions in the atmospheric air are not registered, with the exception of the village of Vanavar, where according to the results of research conducted on July 30, 2019 years at 10:00 hours, the excess of hygienic standards for suspended substances was established by 5.0 times, suspended particles RM2.5 by 12.0 times, suspended particles of RM10 by 6.5 times, ”the department said.

Weighed particles (RM) are a widespread air pollutant, including a mixture of solid and liquid particles in a suspended state. Weighed particles themselves and in combination with other pollutants pose a very serious threat to human health, the website of the Moscow State University testing center notes. “These particles make up 40–70% of all balanced particles and are the most dangerous to human health. These particles are able to penetrate deep into the lungs and settled there, ”the experts say.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, according to the data on the morning of July 31, about 1.067 million hectares are burning, the regional Forest Power Center said. From July 30, the area of ​​fires increased by about 30 thousand hectares.
