The Investigative Committee for the first time after May 6, 2012 opened a criminal case of "riots" in connection with political protests in Moscow. In the case that appeared after the demonstrations on July 27 and on the eve of the performances on August 3, there are already the first five accused. "Mediazona" says what is known about them.

“I evaluate as mass riots, pre -planned and well prepared. There were no applications for the agreed action, ” said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin about the protest campaign, which was held in the city center on July 27. Demonstrators demanded to allow independent candidates to participate in the election of the City Duma. According to Sobyanin, on July 27, the protesters behaved aggressively - they tried to block the movement and attacked the security forces. The demonstrators themselves forced the police to use force, the mayor insisted.

Just an hour after the statement of Sobyanin, the Investigative Committee announced the initiation of a criminal case on the fact of riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code). The release of the department repeated the words of the Moscow mayor: according to investigators, the participants in the action "applied violence against representatives of the authorities, broke through the cordon, and, reaching the roadway, paralyzed the movement of vehicles on the garden ring in the city of Moscow." It was emphasized that on the eve of the rally, a certain “group” on the Internet called on to take to the streets.

On the night of July 31, searches began at the rally, the OVD-Info project spoke about two-Vasily Kuzmin and Sergey Fomin. Judging by the case materials, investigators believe that “unidentified persons” used the refusal to register independent candidates to the Moscow City Duma “as a reason” for the organization of “riots” in the capital. On July 27, these persons “organized the arrival of at least 3,500 participants in the protest campaign” to the Moscow City Hall, who, “succumbing to illegal calls” and applying physical strength, “broke through the cordon, performed unlawful actions, and, having reached the roadway, paralyzed the movement of vehicles on the garden ring.”

Five accused in the case are Kirill Zhukov, Ivan Podkopaev, Alexei Minyailo, Samariddin Radzhabov and Evgeny Kovalenko (he was already arrested on Tuesday in the case of an riot police thrown into riot police). Kirill Zhukov, 28 years old

There are no detailed data about Kirill Zhukov in open sources. From his VKontakte account, he wrote that he studied at MEPHI, has discharges in sambo and swimming. Since January, Kirill Zhukov has been administered by the Public of Landmark , somewhat vaguely calling it a place where "landmarks will be laid out to direct the movement to the goal." The administrator tells about himself that he has two unfinished higher education-physics-engineer and psychologist-teacher.

Alexey Minyailo, 34 years old

It is accused of participating in the riots (part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code). He does not admit guilt, because he was in court all day and only in the evening he reached Trubnaya Square, where he was detained.

On July 29, Minyailo was taken to the Khamovnican Court, from where he simply left, without waiting for a meeting in his case. “Two police officers who escorted me did not interfere with this. When we said: “Sorry, we are leaving, we have plans,” they didn’t stop us, ”he boasted on Twitter.

Around four in the morning on August 1, Alexei Minyailo wrote on Facebook that they had come to him with a search and are going to be taken to the Investigative Committee (now this post is not available). A few hours later, lawyer Valentin Karelin said that the search was connected with the case of riots, and the investigator is going to bring the activist the charge at once on three parts of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (organization, participation and calls for riots).

Minyailo was taken to the Office of the IC in Moscow on Novokuznetskaya Street. In the evening, the lawyer of the Agora international human rights group Alan Gamazov told TASS that the activist was charged only under part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code (participating in the riots): “My client did not admit the guilt and insists that he was participating in the action, since he was in the Khamovniki court of Moscow, where Love Sobol supported.”

The lawyer specified the Mediazone that the prosecution presented by Minyailo did not specify what actions the investigators consider his actions in the riots.

On Podkopaev’s page, his hometown is not indicated. The coordinator of the OVD-Info Alla Frolova says that he is not a Muscovite.

After the detention on July 27, the young man was delivered to the Tver police department, and from there to the Meshchansky District Court, which arrested him for eight days. The court’s decision indicates the standard formulation for all those arrested: Podkopaev participated in an unauthorized rally and chanted the slogans “Destroy”, “This is our city!” And "We are power here!" The rally participants, the document said, blocked the entrance to the metro station, blocked sidewalks and roads. He served in special permissions No. 2 on Mneviki Street.

According to Frolova, on the night of July 31 to August 1, Ivan called and said that he was taken to the Investigative Committee from a special detention center and that he was a witness in the case of riots. Today, according to her, the investigator called the same number, who said that Podkopaev was detained and that he needed to find a lawyer.

Samariddin Rajabov, 21

Investigators took him from a special receiver. Interests are represented by a lawyer for its intended purpose.

Rajabov is the youngest of all the accused: on his VKontakte page it is said that he is only 21 years old. The young man writes rap under the pseudonym Mardd ; In a public dedicated to his work, 29 subscribers. He leads Twitter and Instagram: Samariddin posted the video from the action on July 27 on his social networks.

Judging by Instagram, the young man is not participating in the protest for the first time - he retained in his profile Storis under the name “Gangstashchit”: there is a video from the action “He is not a king” on May 5, 2018, a record from a car zak and a police department.

On July 29, the Meshchansky District Court arrested Samariddin for 10 days all the same. In court, he said that he was not a participant in the rally and came to the center of Moscow for a meeting. Administrative arrest was serving in a specialist in Mneviks.

The Coordinator of the OVD Info Alla Frolova says that Samariddin Rajabova, like Ivan Podkopaeva, was taken out of the special receptionist on July 31. Frolov confirmed the information that he was accused of the case of riots in the case of riots.

Evgeny Kovalenko, 48 years old

He is accused of applying violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) and, probably, participation in the riots (part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code). On July 29, the philistine court of Moscow arrested him on charges of applying violence to a representative of the authorities (part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code); He pleaded guilty. Lawyer Ivan Yurkov told BBC that the Stolbova Kovalenko, who lives in the village of Stolbovaya, contains his 70-year-old mother, he has no other relatives. Egor Zhukov, 22 years old

21-year-old Yegor Zhukov is a fourth-year student of the educational program “Politicalology” of the Higher School of Economics (HSE), an activist Libertarian, leading the popular political YouTube canal, to which 113 thousand people are signed . He planned to take part in the current elections to the Moscow City Duma as a candidate in the Gudkov team, but in the end he took off his candidacy.

Zhukov was detained on the night of August 2 after a night search - a few hours before he published a video about the detentions on the rally on July 27. The young man refused to testify and did not plead guilty. He was taken to the Presnensky court in the morning after interrogation; In the court, the lawyer asked to announce a break to give the client to drink water, but to no avail.

According to the chief editor of the Echo of Moskvy radio station Alexei Venediktov, on the video of the video recording by Zhukov, the student is trying to take the crowd from the roadway to the sidewalk during the action on July 27.
