The head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Bogdan wrote a statement of dismissal from his position. It is reported by "Channel 24" with reference to its own sources.

In a published media statement, 42-year-old Andrei Bogdan asks him to dismiss him of his own free will. He was a little more than 70 days as head of the president’s office.

"According to some sources, after his dismissal, Bogdan will take office as the head of the Supreme Council of Justice. Moreover, in an interview with 1+1, Bogdan suggested that he might change his posts with Sergei Shefir - become the first assistant to the [President of Ukraine Vladimir] Zelensky," writes 24 channel.

Earlier, the Ukrainian press also wrote that the law on lustration forbade him to occupy the post of head of the presidential administration.

Meanwhile, the president’s office did not officially confirm Bogdan’s desire to resign. “No one goes anywhere,” said the deputy head of OP Ruslan Ryaboshapka in a commentary to Thebabel .

Earlier, Bogdan at a briefing said that he was offered a bribe of $ 20 million for the mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klitschko retaining his post.

The head of the Kyiv administration, in turn, appealed to the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine demanding to start a criminal case. Klitschko said that no one was authorized for such negotiations, but the information voiced by Bogdan testifies to criminal offenses.

Also on the website of the President of Ukraine appeared petitions for the resignation of Bogdan. Two of them scored a sufficient number of signatures (over 25 thousand) for consideration, RIA Novosti reports.

Andrei Bogdan is a well -deserved lawyer of Ukraine. He worked in lawyer firms.

In 2007 and 2014, Bogdan ran for the Verkhovna Rada. From 2007 to 2010, he was deputy head of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine. Then Bogdan took the position of Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers (2010-2011), was a government authorized by the anti-corruption policy (2013-2014) and a freelance adviser to the influential businessman Igor Kolomoisky, Interfax reports.

After Euromaidan, in 2014, Bogdan was fired from the Cabinet of Ministers, and in September of the same year his position fell into the list of subject lustration, so he has no right to occupy state debts for 10 years. According to Bogdan, the co -author of the Law on lustration, People's Deputy Yuri Derevyanko, introduced him to this list.

During the 2019 presidential pre -election company, Bogdan was an adviser to Vladimir Zelensky on legal issues. And on May 21, the newly elected head of state Vladimir Zelensky appointed Bogdan the head of the administration of the President of Ukraine.

On May 24, Andrei Bogdan said in a television talk show that he received a position in the administration thanks to great experience of bureaucratic and legal work, but was ready to leave this post at least tomorrow. He admitted that "really did not want" to go to work in the presidential administration, since there is a difficult environment and complex people. “Leaving from there (from ap. - Approx. Interfax ) late in the evening, your head hurts and every sip of fresh air is a joy,” he said.
