The traffic police "declassified" hidden devices of photo and video recording of violations. What will happen now - explain "Blue buckets"

On July 31, a map with the location of photo and video recording systems was posted on the traffic police website. The first official “declassify” the location of the cameras was so popular that the department’s website stopped working half an hour after the publication of the map. And this despite the fact that the section itself is still in development, only maps of Moscow and several regional cities, as well as the Primorsky Territory map, are adequately functioning. Nevertheless, both experts and ordinary drivers, perhaps, even individual auto inspectors positively evaluate the new initiative to disclose information, emphasizing that this is only the first step towards resolving the system of fines from hidden cameras.

- The main value of this map in the gesture of the traffic police leadership aimed at opening information about road systems of photo and video recording of violations. And before that, of course, the navigators abounded with marks about cells where any user could enter information about the location of both temporary and stationary systems. Now, most likely, the official traffic police card will also be made there and are available to drivers. And, we hope that this card will be updated in a timely manner.

Naturally, this initiative of the traffic police is a continuation of the line expressed by the President of Russia, that "cameras should not hide in the bushes." Such a statement does not imply other interpretation, except for the termination of the activity of hidden cameras on the roads. And the appearance of the official chamber map is the first step towards normalizing the photo and video recording system, aimed not at collecting fines from the population, but at compliance with the speed regime and traffic rules.

If the traffic police does not retreat from this line, continuing to update and supplement its road maps (not only in Moscow, but also in the regions), designate the cameras with the corresponding road signs, then soon we will be able to completely legally pay fines from the “cameras in the bushes”. Such an initiative at a meeting of the State Council was also discussed.
