A participant in the rally on July 27, Vladislav Barabanov, immediately after being released from the special detention center in the Southern Administrative District, was detained and taken to the Investigative Committee. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline by the detainee's mother Elena.

According to an eyewitness who also called the OVD-Info hotline, the police took Barabanov out and, after pushing his friends aside, put him in a car and drove away. The information that the man was going to be taken for interrogation to the Investigative Committee OVD-Info was received on August 1, but the man was left in the detention center. He spent seven days there .

A lawyer from OVD-Info, Ilya Utkin, said that the man was taken to face charges. Most likely, this refers to a criminal case on mass riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code). Five people are already accused of it.
