
The Investigative Committee of Russia announced the detention of three more defendants in a criminal case of riots on July 27 in Moscow, TASS reports.
"В рамках расследования уголовного дела о массовых беспорядках и применении насилия в отношении представителей власти следователями ГСУ СК по Москве установлены и задержаны еще трое подозреваемых - Даниил Конон, Сергей Абаничев, Владислав Барабанов. Им предъявлены обвинения в совершении преступления, предусмотренного ч. 2 ст. 212 УК РФ (участие в массовых беспорядках)", - сообщили в СК.
"According to investigators, those accused, among other previously detained persons, took an active part in the riots on July 27, 2019 in the center of Moscow. Passers -by who did not take part in it suffered from the actions of the shares, as well as material damage to the property of citizens and organizations," the SK said in a statement.
Interrogations and other investigative actions are being carried out. In the near future, the investigation intends to petition the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
"Thus, in the framework of the criminal investigation, nine people suspected and accused of these crimes have already been detained. The investigation continues to establish and detain all persons involved in the crimes," the investigative committee added.
Of the nine defendants in the case, six have already been arrested. A law enforcement source clarified that the three more petitions will be considered on Monday
