German driver Mick Schumacher, the son of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher, won the second race of the Formula 2 stage in Hungary.
Schumacher Jr. started from pole position and finished first with a time of 43 minutes 59.841 seconds. This is the first victory for the 20-year-old driver in Formula 2.
Japanese Nobuharu Matsushita took second place in the race, and Brazilian Sergio Sette Camara took third. Russian Nikita Mazepin finished the competition in 15th place.
Formula 2 is an open-wheel car class that has existed since 1948. In the FIA hierarchy, the series occupies a place between Formula 1 and Formula 3. Schumacher Jr. does not yet have a royal racing license, but already has a contract with Ferrari.
