Singer Willy Tokarev died

Russian singer and composer Willy Tokarev died at the age of 85. to Ekho Moskvy This was reported by artist Nikolai Tamrazov with reference to the Tokarev family.

“As far as I know, Willy is no longer with us, unfortunately,” told the radio station “Moscow speaking”. his son Anton Tokarev

The cause of the singer's death is not specified.

Willy Tokarev is a Russian chanson songwriter. He moved from the USSR to the USA in 1974, and in the 90s he returned back to Russia. The greatest popularity was brought to him by such songs as "Skyscrapers", "Cranes" and "And life is always beautiful."
