In Moscow, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case against Vladislav Sinitsa, a participant in the August 3 rally. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the official representative of the UK Svetlana Petrenko.

The man has already been charged with inciting hatred or enmity with the threat of violence (part 2 of article 282 of the Criminal Code). The investigation believes that in one of his tweets, Sinitsa called on subscribers to commit violent acts against the children of the security forces.

OVD-Info got acquainted with the publication, which is probably in question. It was published on Twitter, which maintains an account with the nickname "Max Steklov". The author of the tweet suggested that unknown people could harm the children of the security forces who dispersed the rallies. At the same time, he did not specify how they could harm, did not name the people in question, and did not call on anyone to commit such actions.

Judging by the account, the author of the tweet participated in the campaign for the admission of independent candidates to the Moscow City Duma on August 3. The entry itself was published a few days before, on July 31st.

According to Interfax, the house of the accused has already been searched. At the moment, the man is detained, the investigation will ask the court to place him in custody. In an interview with the publication, a representative of the Investigative Committee noted that Sinitsa "will be checked for involvement in other possible facts of illegal activity."

• During the action on July 27, 2019 for the admission of opposition candidates to the Moscow City Duma, Ilya Yashin called on everyone to gather again on August 3, if the situation does not change.

According to OVD -Info, the security forces detained at least 828 people during the new rally. Most of them became witnesses in the criminal case on mass riots initiated after 27 July.
