After 7 days of arrest, Konstantin Jankauskas was arrested for another 10 days because of a tweet

The Zyuzinsky District Court of Moscow arrested for 10 days the municipal deputy Konstantin Yankauskas, who was denied registration in the Moscow City Duma. This was reported by Anastasia Samorukova, who defends Yanauskas from OVD-Info.

Mundep was found guilty of organizing a rally without filing a notice (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) because of his tweet about a gathering of opposition supporters in Novopushkinsky Square on July 14.

Jankauskas was detained on August 3 immediately after he left the special detention center, where he spent 7 days of arrest because of another tweet.

The previous time he was detained in connection with the rally on July 27 at the Moscow City Hall.
