The ironic comic about the Russian city of the future, where the technologies are new, and the problems are all the same.

In mid -June, VKontakte appeared public Cyberdyansk , where the comic book of the same name is published. Each issue is an ironic fantasy on the topic of the provincial city of the future, where technologies reached a new level, but the problems remained old.

Cyberdyansk in the representation of the authors is a typical Russian city of 2059. Residents are already walking with implants, everywhere you can find robots, and high -quality supplemented reality is everyday life. At the same time, comics relate to typical topics of Russian reality.

Some issues quickly dispersed in social networks, into Picabu and YaPlakal .

Two people are engaged in a comic book. Gleb, the screenwriter of Cyberdyansk, lives in St. Petersburg and works as a journalist. And the illustrator from Yekaterinburg Alexei (also known as “ Camposter ”) is engaged in the visual part. Gleb told TJ that the comic book concept was invented in the spring, but was implemented only by June.

We work together on the project together. One writes a script and storyboard, and the second draws and helps to modify.

I have long been interested in the theme of cyberpunk, technology, as well as the problems of Russian reality. And the idea to unite it all seems to be in the air. For example, the MXD public did something similar, but I wanted to do something with humor. I would describe the concept as "Cyberpunk, which we will deserve."

Residents of Cyberdyansk live in 2059, but still face modern problems like inspection when passing the exam. Only the surroundings are changing.

Gleb told how the name “Cyberdyansk” appeared: “Something about the cities and cyberpunk simply spun in my head, and at some point“ clicked ”. The authors understood that in real life Berdyansk is a Ukrainian city. But they considered that the name is too beautiful to change it.

“Some of our subjects will probably be relevant for other post -Soviet countries,” Gleb added.

According to the authors, they did not expect that from the very first issues the comic will become so popular. Some episodes by that time had already dispersed into Picabu, but their usual users were published. Therefore, Gleb and Alexei had to in a hurry to create an official Cyberdyansk account on the site.

The authors of the comic noted that the action will take place not only in one city. After that, they released the plot about Moscow of the future.
