“During the rally, the parents handed over a young child, who was in a helpless state due to his age, to a third party, which endangered the boy’s health and life, and also caused him physical and moral harm. Thus, the spouses, exploiting the child, abused their parental rights to the detriment of the interests of their son. These violations served as the basis for the prosecutor to send in accordance with Part 1 of Art. 45 of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation to the court of an application for deprivation of parental rights of spouses in relation to a young child,” the department reports.

The prosecutor's office separately notes that the boy's father took part in an uncoordinated event dedicated to the Moscow City Duma elections, without having permanent registration in Moscow.
