The woman, however, explained that there were no documents for these ammunition. The unit commander recognized the violation, but stated that they were not eliminated "due to the inaction of the higher authorities of military administration, which is primarily due to the lack of funding for these purposes."

A total of 502 fire extinguishers were required. The court satisfied the lawsuit of the military prosecutor in full. “1062 Center for Material and Technical Support of the Central Executive Committee of Military District 58661” was obliged to provide the military unit with alarm and fire extinguishers, and also fined 6 thousand rubles.

The court decision noted that “non -compliance with fire safety requirements and the actual absence in the indicated military units of the necessary fire fighting equipment, in the event of an emergency, may entail the onset of grave consequences in the form of the death and injuries of people not only within the boundaries of these military units, but also citizens living in nearby settlements”.

The village of Kamenka

The giant ammunition depots that began to explode on August 5 are located in the village of Kamenka, Achinsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The settlement is firmly connected with the military unit.

Until 2007, a kindergarten worked in the village, which established the Ministry of Defense. But the institution was liquidated.

The Kamenka also has a military town "Achinsk-13". It contains only seven apartment buildings, wrote Radio Liberty in 2017. The publication said that in the houses that belonged to the Ministry of Defense, serious problems with the housing and communal services began.

According to the inhabitants, there were no light, heating, doors and windows knocked out in the five -story buildings, and dirt and garbage accumulated in the yards. In one of the houses, the basement was filled with rats and worms. The supervisory authorities warned the communal workers, but then the quarterplane sharply grew up: the residents of two -room apartments were paid for 10 thousand rubles.
