Putin noted that due to the second wave of flood, problems with the deadlines for housing recovery are possible. “Nevertheless, they try to do everything to the maximum,” he added. “In any case, everything will be built.”

The area of fires has grown to the scale of the disaster. In July, smoke rushed to the west for a long time - he was able to cover the regions of Siberia, up to the Urals, and even leaked to the European part of the Russian Federation. Only after numerous complaints of people, petitions, statements of stars and proposals of US President Donald Trump for help, the Russian government decided to give additional funding, to allocate equipment and people to combat fires. In addition to fires, the Irkutsk region since the end of June has experienced two waves of the destructive flood. Tulun, Nizhneudinsk, Baikalsk and several regions of the region flooded. The flood was so strong that the tulun did not help the dams erected for such cases, even high -rise buildings were in the water, thousands of people were left without housing.
