State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans and State Budgetary Institution Automobile Roads filed claims for compensation for damage caused to transport and urban services as a result of the protests against the participants of the July 27 action. This was reported by the Moscow City News Agency with reference to the press service of the State Unitary Enterprise Mosgortrans.
“The total amount of the first claims amounted to more than 12.5 million rubles. The total damage suffered by commercial and non-profit institutions as a result of unauthorized actions approximately amounted to more than 100 million rubles,” the Agency quotes the company’s message.
Claims for damages have been filed against persons against whom criminal cases have been initiated under the article on mass riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code). It is not specified which specific people we are talking about. Applications were submitted to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
