The Tushinsky District Court of Moscow has appointed 10 days of arrest to the head of the Moscow branch of the Other Russia, Olga Shalina, for participating in the rally on June 12, Yulia Chekunaeva, a lawyer at OVD-Info, said. Olga Shalina was defended in court by lawyer Andrey Plotnikov.
The court charged Shalina with a repeated violation of the article on participation in an uncoordinated action (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). On June 12, she was detained in the Hermitage Garden. In the report, the police indicated that the arrest took place on Strastnoy Boulevard. During the process, the court attached to the case file a video recording showing that Shalina was detained in the Hermitage Garden, where no protests were taking place at that moment: the police approached her and took her to a paddy wagon.
