On August 10, in the center of Moscow, a mass rally was held on Sakharov Avenue with a demand for freedom to defendants in a criminal case of “riots” launched by the RF IC after peaceful shares on July 27 and August 3. The action on Sakharov was agreed with the mayor and became the most numerous lately - according to the “White counter”, almost 50 thousand people came to it. At the rally, bright performances from the stage sounded from the journalist Leonid Parfenov, the stand -up Danila Perectic, the wife of the arrested Dmitry Gudkov, who had served in the “swamp business” by Alexei Polykhovich. The mother of Daniil Konon, one of the defendants of the already current - the so -called "Moscow business", performed.
At the beginning of the rally, the organizers had problems with the scene equipment - and in the middle of the rally, an employee with an electronic gun came out of the special services car and shot down a soaring drone. After the rally, a series of detentions took place in the city center, including, according to Novaya Gazeta correspondents, unreasonable.
