A new application for a protest action has been submitted to the Moscow City Hall

Municipal deputies Elena Filina, Ilya Azar and Andrey Morev submitted a new application to the mayor's office for approval of the protest action. We are talking about a procession along the boulevards of the city on August 17, numbering up to 30 thousand people, Filina told Kommersant .

According to Filina, who was on the organizing committee of the August 10 rally, the opposition will not recognize the results of the Moscow City Duma elections unless independent candidates are allowed to see them.

On August 17, an agreed rally of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation “For Fair and Clean Elections” will take place on Sakharov Avenue. Party leader Gennady Zyuganov said earlier that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation did not intend to unite with unregistered candidates from the non-systemic opposition.
