A Chelyabinsk journalist was shot in the head with a pneumatic gun

An employee of the Chelyabinsk newspaper "Public Defender" received a bullet wound from a pneumatic weapon. Yulia Zyabrina was wounded near the entrance to her house, Echo of Moscow in Chelyabinsk reports . As the journalist herself suggested, they shot at her from a pneumatic gun from a distance of one and a half hundred meters. In her opinion, the attack may be related to the publications of the newspaper.

“It all happened late in the evening, very unexpectedly for me, there was still such a state that I could not run and look for someone, then I lost consciousness. I have concerns that this is due to professional activities. We received threats from unknown people about the showdown, they promised to “sort things out in other ways” and so on. We have a number of publications in the newspaper that are mostly anti-corruption in nature, and there are fears that everything is connected precisely with this,” Zyabrina said.

The police are now investigating the incident.
