The military tell the residents of the village that planned evacuation is not related to the consequences of nuclear release at the training ground

Rospotrebnadzor unveiled data on an increase in the radioactive background in Severodvinsk on the day of the accident at the training ground near Nenox. According to updated data, the dose of gamma radiation on August 8 exceeded the background values of the usual background values by 4-16 times. At the same time, as the department emphasizes, the radiation background was completely normalized after a few hours, the radiation jump was short -term. This is also confirmed by messages of the city residents who measure the background using household dosimeters. The only message about the new jump in the radiation came from the concoor - this is about 80 km from Noknoksi. There, on August 10, volunteers recorded a radiation equal to 176 micro Borens per hour. The increased background was held for about an hour, then the dosimeter readings returned to permissible values.

Only on the night of August 9, Rosatom officially confirmed the conduct of nuclear tests at the training ground, reporting the death of employees of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center-the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics. The corporation guaranteed financial assistance to the families of the dead, and in Sarov, where they worked, they announced mourning. The director of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center Valentin Kostyukov called the names of the dead: Alexey Vyushin, 71-year-old Vladislav Yanovsky-one of the most experienced specialists of the institute, Vyacheslav Lipshev, Evgeny Korataev and Sergey Pichugin and added that they tried to prevent an explosion at the military training ground.

The nuclear officer called the explosion itself "a chain of tragic accidents." The dead nuclear workers are posthumously presented to the State Bedes. As for the victims of the explosion - the military personnel of the Ministry of Defense, the department does not disclose their names, there are also no reports about the possible awarding or assistance to the families of the dead.

There is a chance that the circle of victims can expand. MBH-Media, citing its own sources, reports that 10 Arkhangelsk doctors arrived at the Moscow Clinic of Burnazyan that night who provided first aid to the injured in the explosion. According to unconfirmed reports, doctors who have contacted the dose of radiation with patients, now they themselves will be examined in a specialized medical institution.

While the evacuation has been declared short -term - from the words of the inhabitants, the special train will take them allegedly for only two hours, then they will be able to return home.

According to the military, this is not due to the consequences of the explosion, but at that time some dangerous work is planned at the training ground. Residents of Nonoxy say that they have already encountered such a situation, but not everyone agreed to evacuate before.

As Ksenia Yudina, the head of the media relations department of the Severodvinsky administration, explained to the “new”, the military invite residents to leave, but they do not call this evacuation:

- The municipality really received a notification from the structures of the Ministry of Defense that residents are invited to temporarily leave the territory of the village, but this is a voluntary decision. This is not evacuation. People can themselves leave Nokenski and then return on their own.

According to Yudina, this is due to some planned work at the training ground, this happened earlier, but for how long people should leave their native places is unknown.

Meanwhile, the governor of the Arkhangelsk region Igor Orlov accused of some external forces of pumping the situation in the region of the situation.
