Human rights activist Irina Yatsenko was detained during a picket in support of Konstantin Kotov near the building of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee in Moscow. Detention witness Nikolai Players reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.
Yatsenko was taken to the Arbat police station.
18:40 “Avtozak LIVE” writes that in addition to Irina Yatsenko, several more people were detained.
31 August 14:55 Later it became known that only Yatsenko was detained. The activist was released without a protocol. Yatsenko wrote on Facebook that “as a result of the calls, it turned out” that she was not detained, but was simply writing a statement.
