Monographs (including collective ones with no more than five authors) on popular science topics published during 2017–2019 in printed or electronic form can be submitted to the competition in the category “Best Popular Science Book.”
For the competition in the category “Best journalistic work on the popularization of science” - articles or series of articles, as well as other journalistic works on popular science topics, published in 2017–2019 in print or electronic media, as well as posted on electronic resources.
For the competition in the category “Best Popular Science Video” - video lectures or series of video lectures, documentaries and other video materials on popular science topics created and posted on the Internet during 2017–2019, including those published in electronic media.

Applications for participation in the competition must be submitted to the RAS Commission for the Popularization of Science in electronic form at awardRAS.2019@yandex.ru no later than September 15, 2019 . The printed version of the application must be sent to the Russian Academy of Sciences no later than September 15, 2019 (by postmark) at the address: 119991, Moscow, Leninsky Prospekt, 14, to the executive secretary of the RAS commission for the popularization of science S. S. Davydenko.
The competition is held in accordance with the Regulations on the RAS Prize for the best works on the popularization of science, approved by Resolution of the Presidium of the RAS dated May 28, 2019 No. 100 (see ras.ru/presidium/documents/directions.aspx?ID=077730e9-ef2b-4459-9d59- e1bc1fc11fcb ).
