The court sentenced the alleged members of the “Perm Nazi team”

The Leninsky District Court of Perm has sentenced four alleged members of the Perm Nazi Team. It is reported by Mediazona.

Dmitry Strelkov, accused of creating a team, received 7 years in a penal colony, Anton Zyryanov - 5 years for participating in the team, Nikita Yushkov and Alexander Ankudinov - 3 and 4 years probation. Earlier, the prosecutor requested harsher penalties for the accused.

According to investigators, on November 19, 2017, members of the Perm Nazi Team participated in the arson of the building where the public reception of United Russia was located, and also left xenophobic and anti-government graffiti on the walls of the city. The young people themselves admit committing arson and graffiti, but deny the existence of an extremist community. They explained that the testimony was given under duress. The defendants in the case spoke about torture, pressure and threats after the arrest.

The defendants were found guilty of organizing and participating in an extremist community (parts 1 and 2 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code), inciting hatred or enmity (art. 282 of the Criminal Code), damaging property out of hooligan motives and attempting to kill it (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code with the application of part 3 of article 30). Strelkov was also accused of inciting extremism (Article 280).

In total, there are 6 defendants in the Perm team case. Earlier, the court sentenced Nikita Rasputin to two years in prison and Vladislav Prokopishin to one and a half years on probation. They were found guilty under articles 167 and 282.1 of the Criminal Code. The cases of Rasputin and Prokopishin were singled out for separate proceedings, since at the time of their arrest they were minors.
