Mom Cyril, Victoria, did not have time to stop her and generally understand what was happening, as her son cried in horror. The neighbor stated that she simply studied the too loud and mobile boy and did nothing wrong. The next few weeks, Cyril was afraid to go into the elevator, and Victoria restrained herself so as not to rise to the neighbor and tell her that she hit the child with organic brain damage, that it was difficult for him to exist in this world and the sudden manifestation of her “methods of education” he experiences very difficult.

For Victoria herself, remarks about the “bad education” of her son are not news: she has been listening to them for several years.

In someone else's language

Due to the inability to express his desires and thoughts from early childhood, Cyril began to show everything with gestures, but they were not always understood. Then he screamed, cried, naughty. Adults called him “bad and naughty” for this and did not suggest that such changes in mood in the case of Cyril was a reaction to the huge world of relationships and their lack of a little boy in the head, which he carefully studies and tries to reproduce every day. As if you tried to understand the ink blots of aliens and speak on them.

And this is all - the consequences of heavy clans, about which None of the specialists remembered for three years of Cyril and did not pay attention to the discharge from the hospital.

"Wait for three years"

Almost four years ago, Victoria made an ultrasound in the morning, and everything was fine. But in the process of childbirth, complications began: double entanglement, asphyxia, the child did not go out, Victoria lost a lot of blood. Doctors decided to make an emergency cesarean, after which a woman spent a month in the hospital, and Cyril for some time in a special box due to five points on the Apgar scale. During this month, the father of Cyril decided to leave the family: "He simply said that he did not need it all."

Victoria 36 years old. She was born in Ufa, graduated from an oil technical school, and then the All-Russian Financial and Economic Institute. She worked in a bank for ten years and did not plan to sit on maternity leave for a long time. But when Cyril was one and a half years old, it was reduced. The first six months of searching for work, they said to her with direct text that they did not want to take a single mother, because they can’t go to sick leave. With the help of a friend, I still found remote work, but after six months the company went bankrupt.

Kirill, according to Victoria, up to a year and ten months, was no different from his peers: he raised his head in time, sat in time, went on time. “And then we went to an ordinary children's fork, and somewhere in the third lesson the teacher said to me:“ Your child is different from others, ”says Victoria.

The teacher suggested that Cyril has an autistic spectrum disorder. With his real diagnosis - motor alalia, according to Victoria, he is often confused. As with an autistic spectrum disorder, Cyril would not mind communicating with people, but they do not understand him - and he left the guys into the corner and played there alone.

“I ran to the psychiatrist with this. She said that there is definitely no autism, but in question, problems with the central nervous system and motor alalia. We turned to a psychologist, but she recommended just going to kindergarten early to socialize it. ” The diagnosis of Cyril will be made only after almost a year. Before this there will be exhausting hiking for specialists who will repeat as one: “Calm down, mommy, wait for three years.” But Victoria did not calm down.

Naughty body

All Cyril’s diagnoses sound like this: the consequences of organic brain damage, a delay in psycho -regional development, motor alalia, emotional disorder in behavior and, in addition, mixed astigmatism.
Alien speech is not the only thing that is incomprehensible to Cyril in people. It seems that the small alien on the ground was stuck in the body shell, but they did not explain how to use it.

Cyril walks and runs perfectly, but sometimes he can stagger due to problems with coordination. Cyril also gives himself out when he draws. As my mother taught, he takes a brush in his hand, but his hand does not obey. Then he shifts the brush in the other hand - and it does not fit there. Problems with large and fine motor skills are also part of the diagnoses.

Cyril does not stop trying and advanced perfectly in drawing straight lines. It remains only to convince him to draw them in the album, and not on the wall or on the floor. How many strange earthlings have rules! Cyril agrees to postpone the felt -tip pen and decides to finish artificial plasticine teeth in the toy set of a small dentist. To do this, he sits on my leg and is not at all embarrassed if I accidentally hurt him. Cyril is very selective to people who are allowed to himself, but at the same time he constantly needs tactile contact. All these problems - with coordination and with sensory failure - helps to solve the pool.

Since September, classes at the Ufa School of Swimming Aquatic for children as Cyril will be limited: they will only be allowed before lunch. It turned out that other mothers are unhappy that “patients” swim along with their “healthy” children. Victoria says that he is glad to such a graphics, because they do not take them to other pools at all, but Cyril needs to swim.

In confirmation of my mother’s words, Cyril collects in light air, folds his hands and dives from the sofa, in good faith depicting the sounds of water. The pool is one of the paid classes that Victoria was found for her son, because rehabilitation of compulsory medical insurance is not enough.

Twenty days a year

The state allocates ten days of the physical office, exercise therapy and massage twice a year. Separately, some more procedures can be achieved, including group ones, which are not suitable for Cyril. Twenty days a year can lead to some kind of improvement, but with competent rehabilitation, Cyril can completely catch up with peers.

All his violations can be completely cured, then take full control. He only needs to help to figure out how to contact the world on his own. This requires continuous rehabilitation.

When Victoria found out what the state provides and what they really need and how much it costs, she decided to declare a gathering in their social networks - for two courses in the St. Petersburg Specialized Center “Forecast”, but the amount was not gained in any way.

“The collection got up, and I realized that I couldn’t go to St. Petersburg. Then I decided that I would treat him in Ufa, - a friend told me about the Markamat Center. " There classes cost only 4 thousand a month. Given good reviews and prices in other centers - 20-30 thousand a month, Victoria decided to call.

The Center for Children's Development under the Marchamat Foundation has been operating since 2011. Now 250 children from four to 18 years old are engaged there. Everyone has different diagnoses-from an autistic spectrum disorder to epilepsy, attention deficiency and hyperactivity, children's cerebral paralysis, Down syndrome and emotional-volitional disorders, like Cyril.

The course includes individual or group work with a psychologist, speech therapist, defectologist, ergotherapist, physical therapist, family psychologist and others. For example, Cyril can only individually engage in. In group classes with children, he is lost, becomes scattered, stops performing tasks, or simply goes to the side.

Teachers in Markamat understand the state of Cyril and explain to his mother. Victoria herself went to the psychologist of the center for several months in order to accept the diagnoses of her son: “And they talked and talked. It was really hard to accept. When they told me about the diagnoses, I roared for two days, did not know what to do, because ... Well, it’s hard to accept that your child is not like everyone else. And then you constantly think: where to get the money when it is impossible to get a job, how to make an appointment with a doctor, when everywhere in the queues, how to get medicines when you answer that there are no free ones? Constantly the brain works. Now it’s a little easier for me, because I see great progress, I understand that we are going the right way. ”

The bicycle treats the brain

One of Cyril's most beloved exercises in Markamat is a bicycle. “It turns out that the brain and bicycle are interconnected and if you know how to ride a bicycle, then your brain functions well. And we can’t ride a bicycle, he does not feel, does not understand how to put pressure on the pedals. Hears his feet on his feet so that he feels their weight. He really likes it, but he is cunning, does not press, but pushes himself with one foot, ”Victoria laughs. I ask Cyril if he likes to ride a bicycle, he answers yes. Victoria freezes every time he asks her son to say something, and smiles when he answers. For the first time, he spoke only a couple of months ago, by the end of the first year of class.

And he has since repeats the memorized phrase. He cannot tell who offended him. Just a month and a half, how can they say: “Mom, I want to eat”, before showing everything with a finger or knew where he was lying, and he himself took it. ”

Speech is now progressing quickly. Cyril with a video where he cannot answer, as his name is, is difficult to find out in a boy who lectured me for ten minutes about the differences between the tram and trolley, and then told him that he had a repair in the pool, so he would not go there on the weekend, but go on Monday.

A little hard worker

Cyril is only at the beginning of the journey. His rehabilitation lasted six months, but during this time he began to speak, started a friend in the kindergarten, began to get less nervous and screaming, better understand people and be less afraid of them. But doctors warn Victoria that you cannot stop.

“If we calm down and stop working now, then all progress may not just stop, but roll back. I am doing everything now so that Cyril goes to first grade to a regular school. I believe that it will be so, and I will go to work - and everything will be fine with us. ”

Now the Markamat Center is collecting money for a special sensory room, which will help Cyril learn to get along with his brain and body. It will help to develop the ability of the nervous system to perceive information from the senses: learn not to cry from noise and not scream from touching the head, deal with naughty arms and legs and go on a bicycle.
