The deputy head of the clinic of Meshalkin was under arrest

The court extended the home arrest of the deputy director of the Novosibirsk Clinic named after Meshalkin Evgenia Kushalov. The famous surgeon is accused of fraud.

The Central District Court of Novosibirsk extended the deadline for house arrest to Kudshalov on August 16, Interfax reports .

“The court ruled: to extend the term of maintenance under house arrest, Kudshalov Evgeny Anatolyevich for three months until November 19, 2019,” decided Judge Oksana Efremova.

The investigation believes that kushalov may interfere with operational events while free. In addition, according to law enforcement agencies, other persons may be involved in the crime.

Kostshalov will be under house arrest at the place of registration - in Akademgorodok, and not in the Zaeltsovsky district, as before.

In February 2019, the deputy director of the clinic, the famous doctor Evgeny Kudshalov was accused of fraud (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and the legalization of funds (part 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), he was first placed in a pre -trial detention center, later he was sent under house arrest. The damage was reported about 1.3 billion rubles. The co -owners of Favorit LLC, who supplied medicines for the hospital, Evgeny Pervushin and Alexander Sorokin, as well as Andrei Tretyakov, were also suspected.

At the same time, the investigation did not give official comments on the essence of the accusations, the preventive measures were elected to the defendants. It is known that it concerns the procurement, in particular, pacemakers. It was brought up based on the FAS materials, which found a cartel conspiracy in the clinic.

Then the criminal case was brought to the ex-director of the clinic, the former deputy of the Legislative Assembly from the “EP” and the leader of the list of the party Alexander Karaskov, as well as to his wife Irina Boytsov. They were accused under Part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement) and part 5 of Art. 33, part 4 of Art. 160 of the Criminal Code (aiding in embezzlement). Karaskov himself against the backdrop of these events had a heart attack and he was brought to the courtroom from the hospital. In the morning on the day of the election of a preventive measure, the defense of Karaskova published his open letter to President PF Vladimir Putin. He said the "actual raider seizure of the center, in order to control financial budget flows."

The affairs of Kudshalov and Karaskov were united. Karaskov and his wife are in jail.
