The Investigative Committee and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have denied the appearance of looters at the site of the plane's emergency landing in the Moscow region

The Investigative Committee has denied information that appeared in the media that looters were spotted at the site of the emergency landing of the Ural Airlines Airbus A321 in the Moscow region.

The Investigative Committee emphasized that investigators are working around the clock at the site of the emergency landing, including in the aircraft cabin. The area is cordoned off by police. No outsiders have entered the area since the accident, the department said. As evidence, the Investigative Committee published a video from the aircraft cabin.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that they had not recorded any cases of looting. Ural Airlines also said that there were "no outsiders or looters" and that the plane was being guarded by the Russian National Guard.

On August 17, specialists from Airbus and the French Bureau for Investigation and Analysis of Civil Aviation Safety began working at the site of the emergency landing, TASS reported , citing a source.

Earlier, the FlightMode Telegram channel reported that seat belts, life jackets, and bags with emergency rescue equipment were stolen from a Ural Airlines plane. According to the Yandex.News service, at least nine publications reported cases of looting following FlightMode.
