The Finnish authorities have granted political asylum to Ilya Kapustin, who was a witness in the "Network" case . The Rupression project was the first to report this.
Kapustin told MBKh Media that he applied for asylum in February 2018. He is currently in Helsinki. Kapustin plans to enroll in an educational institution in Finland.
In January 2018, Ilya Kapustin told Mediazona that FSB officers had shocked him with a stun gun while asking him about the defendants in the Network case. The Investigative Committee later reported that the marks on Kapustin’s body were not from the electric shock, but from bedbug bites.
