In Kursk, near the Drama Theater, police officers detained a minor who was standing in a solitary picket, and an eyewitness Maria, who was nearby. Maria herself reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.
The underage activist stood in a single picket in solidarity with the defendants in the July 27 case of "mass riots", in particular, with Vladislav Barabanov. The police officers decided to draw up a report against him and called his grandmother as his representative.
Maria was nearby and called OVD-Info with a message that a protocol had been drawn up against the picketer. During a telephone conversation, the police officers demanded that Maria go with them to the department for identification: they said that she had an orientation, and Maria refused to introduce herself. A law enforcement officer asked her questions about payment for picketing, about membership in organizations, accused Maria of provoking her underage acquaintance.
Now the juvenile is brought to the department along with his grandmother. They did not detain Maria, she also refused to write an explanatory note.
17:00 The minor, together with his grandmother, was taken to police station No. 1.
18:30 The teenager was released after his mother came for him, Maria, an eyewitness to the detention, said. According to her, the police took the phone from the young man and checked his social networks. Maria herself was demanded to go to the department for a conversation, where she was asked questions about her civil position and interests, and also asked if she persuaded a minor to picket.
