“According to the old joke, the whole Russian history is a cults: a cult is a clearance, then again a cult is a clearance and so to infinity,” a sociologist writes on his Facebook page.

Stagnation and Superhawkoritarism of Nikolai 1 (cult) ended with the reforms of Alexander 2 (lumen), and those counter -reforms of Alexander 3; The Stalinist cult - the Khrushchev thaw, that - Berezhnevsky stagnation, he, in turn, by perestroika and the reforms of the early 90s, which ended with Putin's dictatorship.

Now at the peak of the new cult we are celebrating the anniversary of the highest point of the last lumen - the 1991 revolution.

The Putin’s cult, like all previous ones, will inevitably end with a clearance, that is, revolutionary reforms and the exposure of a departed dictator. Moreover, one gets the feeling that he (both the cult and the dictator itself) have already reached the peak of idiocy and the clearance is close. Even in the ruling elite, the first signs of scatter and staggering are visible, some “solid Putins”, such as Chemezov, begin to blame something in defense of democracy and against repression.

I would like to believe that the Putin cult will be the last. Someday, the infinite race of Russia in a closed circle from reform to dictatorship and vice versa should someday. "
