In Belgorod, two single picketers who supported Moscow shares drew up a protocol

In Belgorod, two participants in single pickets drew up an administrative protocol for a mass event without submitting a notification (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This OVD-Info was reported by one of the activists.

On August 17, in the center of Belgorod, Andrei Ruban and Yuri Polyakov stood alternately in a single picket for admission of candidates from an unsystematic opposition for elections to the Moscow City Duma and the termination of the case of “riots” in Moscow.

They were called to the city Internal Affairs Directorate to write explanations, but, in addition, they drew up an administrative protocol under part 2 of article 20.2 (holding a mass event without submitting a notification). According to Ruban, police officers regarded the distribution of leaflets near a single picket for a mass event with the spread of campaigning.

On October 21, the Oktyabrsky District Court terminated the administrative case of Andrei Ruban "in connection with the lack of the composition of the offense."

• In Moscow, mass protests for more than a month last for the admission of independent candidates for elections to the Moscow City Duma. On shares on July 27 and August 3, employees of law enforcement agencies harshly detained and beat people who went out into the street.
• Many independent candidates in the Moscow City Duma elections were refused registration. The election commissions recognized more than 10 percent of the signatures of residents of districts collected by candidates, which is below the permissible level of marriage. Commission members refused to accept statements from several hundred people that their signatures are genuine.
