The Russian Orthodox Church asks her to give her the cathedral in Lomonosov for 100 years

The parish of the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael asked the authorities of St. Petersburg for 100 years for free use of the same name on the Palace Prospekt, 61 in Lomonosov. It is reported by Interfax.

At the moment, the cathedral is owned by the administration of St. Petersburg, but is used by the parish. Therefore, parishioners believe, they can be transferred to the building of the cathedral to continue the same activities.

In the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael, prayers, baptism, memorial service, confession and liturgy are held every day. The parish organizes Sunday school there, provides social assistance to pupils of PNI and conducts pilgrimages.

The building of the cathedral in the current form appeared in 1911. In Soviet times, there was a vegetable storehouse, after which the church was restored.

Earlier, the Russian Orthodox Church asked me to transfer the St. Isaac's Cathedral to her, which caused the discontent of the Petersburgers. As a result, the order on the procedure for the transfer of Isaacia of the Russian Orthodox Church lost force. There were no new applications from the church.
