In Novokuibyshevsk, candidates for the City Duma went on a hunger strike against unfair elections. In response, the police issued them summonses to the district police officer. This was reported to OVD-Info by one of the candidates, Grigory Oganezov.
Communist Party candidates Mikhail Abdalkin, Sergei Chernov and Oganezov went on a hunger strike against the disruption of election campaigns and fake candidates from the government. In the morning they stood on Lenin Square in front of the city administration with a sign "Hunger strike of the Communist Party." Police officers approached them and issued summonses to the district police officer as witnesses, without specifying what case they were involved in.
Oganezov went to the district police officer at the indicated time, but he was not at the workplace. The candidates returned to the hunger strike near the administration building.
