Marina Fomenko exhibition will be held at the "Factory"

On September 6, in the Hall of Arthaus of the Center for Creative Industry "Factory" in Moscow, the exhibition of Marina Fomenko "The burden of milk" will open.

The Moscow artist, curator, director of the international festival of the video art “now & later” Marina Fomenko created on a livestock farm in the Altai Territory, which was once exemplary, and now it falls into decay.

The eight -channel video installation “Ben Ben” immerses the viewer in life on the farm for one day: morning milking, evening milking, “birthday”, dairy.

“A familiar farmer told me that on some farms the eyes of the cows are funny, and on others - sad ones. This is a farm of cows with sad eyes, ”says the artist. - They live in mud and crampedness, spend life in the stalls, tied to one place, and give life to the calves to take them immediately after birth. Several women perform an excessively heavy and low -paid work of maintaining the vital activity of the barn. I wanted to show how life goes on this farm, but it happens worse ... ”

The exhibition of Marina Fomenko “The Ben of Milk” in the Central Executive Committee “Factory” will work until October 6 .
