Assistant to the head of the FSB department for Moscow and the Moscow region, Lieutenant Colonel Marat Medoev, went to work at Mosenergo, where he became an adviser to the managing director for security and regime. This is reported by MBH Media with reference to an anonymous employee of the company.

“This is a very high position, only the managing director is higher. A company car, a very large salary and no duties with the widest possible opportunities, ”said the employee.

An informed source of Interfax, in turn, said that Medoev began working "in a large energy company." At the same time, according to the interlocutor of the agency, he remains an employee of the FSB.

On August 26, the BBC Russian Service wrote that Medoev was seconded from the FSB to the security service of Gazprom. Later, another interlocutor of the publication clarified that it was about Mosenergo, which is a "daughter" of the gas company.

According to RBC sources, Medoev "about a month ago" was removed from his post in the FSB. Whether we are talking about dismissal from the service, the sources of the publication did not specify.
