Mikhail Kulkov, accused in the Network case, was placed in a punishment cell in a pre-trial detention center. This is reported by "Mediazona" with reference to the mother of the person involved in the case, Elena.

According to Elena, on August 26 she went on a date with her son, at which he said that he was being threatened with a punishment cell. And already on August 27, Kulkov's lawyer reported that his client was in a punishment cell.

According to his mother, Kulkov was transferred to a punishment cell due to the fact that he "sleeped under a blanket during the day."

• Mikhail Kulkov is one of 11 defendants in the Network case. According to the FSB, 11 young people in Penza and St. Petersburg organized the terrorist group "Network" and were going to overthrow the government. The defendants in the case reported psychological pressure, electric shocks, beatings, and planted weapons. Some of them retracted the confessions they gave in the first days after the arrests.
