
The non -profit organization Forset from Georgia has opened an acceptance of scholarship applications in the Data Communication. The program is intended for journalists, communications specialists and civilian activists who have experience with data.
Residents of Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan or Uzbekistan can submit applications. All participants must freely own written and oral English. It is also required to do homework - create stories based on data
The scholarships will improve skills in the collection, analysis and work with data during the year. The program consists of three-week training in Tbilisi, which will be held in October-November 2019. Then the mentors will work with the participants online.
In total, 12 scholarships will be selected, of which six will receive full funding (a ticket to both ends and coverage of expenses for accommodation in Tbilisi), and six more partial (covering only a ticket to both ends).
