Protesters in support of Shies were detained in St. Petersburg

Participants of the rally in defense of Shies Alexei Yashin and Sergei Grebnev were detained in St. Petersburg. This is reported by the Detainees Assistance Group.

The men were detained at 20:30 on Lenin Square. They are being taken to police station No. 78.

• Since August 2018, protests have been regularly held near the Shies station in the Arkhangelsk region, as well as in Arkhangelsk itself and in Syktyvkar. Local residents oppose the construction of a landfill for municipal solid waste, where, according to plans, Moscow garbage should be taken out.
