In Moscow, on Manezhnaya Square, the police detained Yulia Bestuzheva, who stood in a single picket with a poster “The authorities are imprisoning young people for demanding fair elections,” OVD-Info reports , citing Moscow activist Inna Kholodtsova.

Bestuzhev was taken to the police department in the Kitai-Gorod district. Inna Kholodtsova was allowed to travel with her as a public defender.

The activist was released from the department without a protocol. She wrote two statements about the actions of the police officers and the illegality of the arrest.
