Skateboarder Tony Hawk posted a video of himself playing a game named after himself - Tony Hawkʼs Pro Skater. Judging by the published fragment, Hawke was satisfied with his virtual tricks - the game character survived on the skateboard (although the video is very short, it is not known what happened next). So he celebrated 20 years since the release of the game.

“Tony Hawkʼs Pro Skater came out 20 years ago. She became an unexpected phenomenon and attracted a new audience to skateboarding. My friends at Tony Hawkʼs Pro Skater Film are finishing up a documentary on the game series. And in the meantime, I'm rolling around the warehouse!

Hawk added that a film about the game, Pretending Iʼm a Superman, is being prepared for release. In the trailer, the skater says that he himself grew up on video games, but among them there were almost no ones in which you could ride on the board. But in 1999, Neversoft and Activision created a simple and fun game about the famous skateboarder.
