From the beginning of the year, one of the main owners of Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin - by $ 3.8 billion to $ 23.5 billion increased his fortune. Leonid Michelson, co -owner of Novatek, increased his fortune by $ 2.8 billion to $ 22.3 billion. The third position in the ranking was occupied by the main beneficiary of NLMK Vladimir Lisin: his fortune reached $ 20.5 billion.

The list also included the owner of Severstal, Alexei Mordashov, co -owner of Lukoila Vagit Alekperov, owner of a share in Novateka and Sibura Gennady Timchenko, businessmen Alisher Usmanov, Roman Abramovich, the Benophicar of EuroChim and Suek Andrei Melnichenko and the main owner of Renova Victor Vekselberg. The tenth position was taken by the shareholder of the Alfa Group consortium Mikhail Friedman.

The index was calculated on the basis of the cost of shares of companies and data from their reports. In addition, experts made conclusions on the basis of an indicator of the ratio of capitalization of the company and EBITDA. Of the 500 members of the BBI rating, 24 people are Russians.
