The Nevsky District Court of St. Petersburg dismissed the case of Alexander Gusakov on violations of public order at a rally on September 9, 2018 due to the absence of an event of an offense. this on her telegram channel Gusakov's defender Varvara Mikhailova reports .

In the winter of this year, Gusakov was found guilty of "a violation that interfered with the movement of pedestrians and vehicles" (part 6.1 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and served a week's arrest. On appeal, the city court of St. Petersburg overturned this decision due to multiple inconsistencies in the case file. On February 27, 2019, the Nevsky District Court reviewed the case of Gusakov, again found him guilty, again appointed 7 days of arrest and set off the early served term. On the second appeal, heard in the city court, the case was again returned to the district court.
