A new person involved in July 27

In the criminal case in the wake of the action on July 27, a new person was discovered. This was reported by the legal assistance coordinator of the OTD-Info Alla Frolova.

The surname of the new person involved is currently unknown, his name is Edward. It is located in the temporary detention center in the Northern Administrative District. According to unconfirmed reports, he is charged with the use of violence to a representative of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). His interests are represented by a lawyer for their intended purpose.

On that day, he was first taken to the Department of Internal Affairs of Treparevo-Knikulino, later he ended up in the Tver police department. On July 29, the court arrested him for 13 days, he was sitting in special reception No. 2.

In connection with the Moscow action on July 27, for honest elections, during the dispersal of which the police detained at least 1373 people, a criminal case was opened under articles on riots (Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the application of violence to representatives of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Currently, 14 defendants in the case are known.
The five of them-Evgeny Kovalenko, Kirill Zhukov, Danila Befiletse and Ivan Podkopaeva-were charged under the 318th article, two more-Samariddin Rajabov and Aidar Gubaidulin-in the attempt to use violence to representatives of the authorities (Article 318 of the Criminal Code with the use of the 3rd part of Article 30 of the Criminal Code). According to unconfirmed reports, according to the 318th article, Nikita Chirtsov is also accused, who was detained on the night of September 2, a few days after his arrival in Moscow from Minsk.
The cases of the first four accused under the 318th are already considered in court. On September 3, sentences on the cases of Danil fugitive and Ivan Podkopaev are expected, as they pleaded guilty and agreed to consideration of cases in a special order, that is, without researching evidence.
