The International Football Federation (FIFA) introduced the official emblem of the nearest world championship, which will be held in Qatar in 2022. The presentation of the logo was held in Qatar and many cities of the world, including Moscow.
The logo traditionally echoes the form with the trophy that the winner will receive. At the same time, as conceived by the authors, it resembles woolen kufia - a headdress that is used in Arab countries to protect against heat, cold and sand.
In a white emblem on a burgundy background, you can see the bends of the march, eight (in eight stadiums will be played by the championship), the interweaving of doubles and an infinity sign. According to style, it resembles a traditional drawing of henna in the arms of eastern women, and also pays tribute to Arab calligraphy.
