FBK: Deputy Mayor of Moscow Sergunina transferred to her family the company of the Moscow City Hall, the work of which she supervised

The co-owner of the Aviapark company, which is developing the territory of Khodynskoe Field and belonged to the Moscow authorities, became the shoe company of the husband of the sister of the deputy mayor of the capital Natalya Sergunina, who oversaw the project. This is stated in the investigation of the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), published on the website of Alexei Navalny.

The Aviapark company was to build an aviation and space museum and park. The Moscow authorities invested 4.3 billion rubles in the project, and Sergunin was appointed to control it.

“And then a miracle that is so familiar to us happens. The city decides to get rid of this asset completely,” Navalny writes. As a result, a 33% stake in the Aviapark company was transferred through several intermediaries to the company of Sergunina’s relative, her sister’s husband Lazar Safaniev. The other two-thirds of the company's shares went to an unknown offshore company from the British Virgin Islands. The conditions under which the owners of Aviapark were changed are not specified.

As a result, no museum or park appeared on Khodynskoye Field, the oppositionist notes.

Earlier, FBK released another investigation about Sergunina, which stated that her family owns property worth 6.5 billion rubles. Including a chain of hotels in Moscow, the buildings of which were purchased from the city authorities “for next to nothing,” the oppositionists assured.
