The founder of the Rolf company, former State Duma deputy Sergei Petrov, was put on the international wanted list in a criminal case on the withdrawal of 4 billion rubles abroad. This was reported by Interfax with reference to the press service of the Basmanny Court of Moscow.

The investigation filed a petition with the court for the arrest of Petrov in absentia, he was charged.

At the end of June, Rolf's offices and salons were searched in a criminal case on the illegal withdrawal of funds abroad on an especially large scale (part 3 of article 193.1 of the Criminal Code). In addition to Petrov, three top managers of the company are involved in the case. One of them, Anatoly Kairo, was placed under house arrest.

Petrov himself considers the persecution to be political. In an interview with Meduza, he said that the case was "100% connected" to his political activities. The businessman was in the Just Russia faction, supported Alexei Navalny, did not vote for the annexation of Crimea and opposed the Yarovaya law.
