In the Tverskoy District Court, after a hearing in the case of Konstantin Kotov, bailiffs used force to kick people out of the building, which is why Natalia Yunina was injured. She was hospitalized. Galina, a friend of the victim, reported this to OVD-Info.

According to Galina, Yunina was taken away from the court in an ambulance. At the hospital, the woman was diagnosed with an internal stomach injury and a dislocated shoulder. Initially, doctors refused to write that the injuries were caused by the actions of government officials.

• On September 5, the court sentenced activist Konstantin Kotov to four years in prison under the “Dada” article on repeated violations of the rules for participation in public events (Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code). The court found that Kotov, “despising constitutionally protected values,” committed a criminal offense by participating in peaceful protests.
• Kotov’s criminal case is already the third case under Art. 212.1 of the Criminal Code, initiated in 2019. The first person accused under this article in 2019 was Kolomna activist Vyacheslav Egorov , the second was Arkhangelsk activist Andrei Borovikov, whose case is already being considered in court. Before the initiation of the case against Vyacheslav Egorov, Article 212.1 had not been used for more than three and a half years.
• Activist Ildar Dadin was sentenced under Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code to three years in prison for four peaceful protests. Later the term was reduced by six months. In November 2016, Dadin was able to convey information to the public that he had been subjected to torture in the colony . His letter and, as a result, his case gained wide resonance. On February 22, 2017, the Supreme Court decided to overturn Dadin's sentence and release him.
