Crimean Tatars Zevri Abseitov, Enver Mamutov, Rustem Abiltarov and Remzi Memetov, convicted in the first Bakhchisaray Hizb ut-Tahrir case, were transported from pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Rostov-on-Don. This was reported on the website “Crimea. Realities."
Abseitov was transferred to IK No. 1 in the village of Kochubeevskoye, Stavropol Territory, Mamutov and Memetov were transferred to IK No. 11 in Mikhailovsk in the same region of Russia.
Abseitov was immediately placed in a punishment cell, citing the fact that Abseitov had a “terrorist offense”. Mamutov and Memetov are still in the quarantine department of Penal Colony No. 11, where all new arrivals are placed.
It is not yet known where the fourth person involved in the case, Rustem Abiltarov, was taken. The last time Mamutov and Memetov saw him was in a transfer cell in the Pyatigorsk pre-trial detention center.
