Almost 5.5% voted in the elections for the mayor of Novosibirsk

The turnout in the mayoral elections in Novosibirsk reached 5.5%. It is almost two times lower than in 2014.

The turnout in the mayoral elections, according to the city election committee at 12:00, is 5.43%. In 2014, by the same time, 9.85% of voters had voted.

There are 15 names on the ballot in total: coordinator of Navalny's Novosibirsk headquarters Sergey Boyko (self-nominated), independent deputy of the city council Natalya Pinus (Russian People's Union), general director of Advokat-Plus LLC Alexander Gultyaev (Party of the Revival of Russia), former vice-mayor Daniyar Safiullin (“Rodina”), Deputy of the Legislative Assembly Daria Ukraintseva (“The Greens”), Acting Mayor Anatoly Lokot (KPRF), City Council Deputy Yevgeny Lebedev (LDPR), former Deputy Governor Viktor Kozodoy (“Fair Russia”), TV presenter Yulia Sapina (“Civic Platform ”), social activist Oleg Viktorovich (Party of Affairs), individual entrepreneur Andrey Tokarev (Native Party), publicist Dmitry Kholyavchenko (Yabloko), lawyer Alexei Krestyanov (Agrarian Party of Russia), general director of Imperial Stroy LLC Mukhammed-Ali Khayurin (Party village revival) and the head of the regional department of the "Communists of Russia" Sergey Loskutov.
