At the same time, the results of similar elections have already been announced in the Leningrad Region. Oppositionists report mass fraud when counting votes.

In St. Petersburg, votes in the September 8 elections continue to be counted

In the municipal elections in the Leningrad Region, United Russia received 74.1% of the vote, Interfax reports with reference to the chairman of the regional election commission of Mikhail Lebedinsky. On September 8, local deputies were chosen in the region in 177 municipalities. 13.87% of the votes were gained by self -nominates, 6.31% - candidates from the Communist Party, 2.71% - candidates from Fair Russia, and 2.62% - candidates from the LDPR.

In St. Petersburg itself, where 1575 deputies were chosen in 109 municipal tips, the results were still not summed up. As of the evening of September 9, all six municipalities of the Central District did not enter the data to the GAS “Elections” system, writes Fontanka. The winners from the sections of the Frunze district did not enter into the system. There the meeting of the commissions was postponed for the evening.

The opposition suspected that the election results were not summed up due to fraud with votes count

The head of the Yabloko campaign headquarters in St. Petersburg Maxim Katz wrote that the data may not be entered in order to be able to falsify the results. Some candidates are also evidenced. “According to the protocols, I won the mandate, but the municipal election man refuses to enter these data in the GAS“ Elections ”. They say that the recounting of votes is possible. I have a difference of 30 votes with my opponents, I am afraid that when recounting with them you can nurse something, ”Ilya Smirnov told Fontanka, supported by the United Democrats by the movement (united independent and opposition candidates in the city).

Fontanka cites a joint statement by the St. Petersburg branches of Yabloko and Fair Russia about what is happening, published on the evening of September 9: “By a strange coincidence, this [delays in the event of elections] occurs precisely in those areas where opposition candidates win. <...> Practice shows that the many hours between the time of closing the plots and the time of publication of the voting results in the GAS “Elections” means preparing for future falsifications of elections. ”

Several candidates for municipal deputies told the “paper” that the information is supposedly not entered by the system due to complaints about the vote, but these complaints are not reflected in the protocols. And according to the leader of Yabloko in the city legislative assembly by Boris Vishnevsky, the election commission explained the delays in the technical break, which did not allow them to translate the results of the elections from the paper format to the electronic one.

On the evening of September 9, oppositionists began to report massive violations

A day after the end of the vote, at least three districts of St. Petersburg decided to count the voices. St. Petersburg candidates from opposition parties and movements report that when recalculating the commission deliberately commit violations to win representatives of United Russia. Some protocols, according to them, are simply falsified.

The leader of the headquarters of Navalny in St. Petersburg, Alexander Shurshev, said that in the PEC No. 60, members of the commission interrupted the vote in the morning and resumed it only in the evening - at this time they put the ballots for storage to the police, after which they brought it back to the PEC. “But now they are even, not crumpled at all, with the same marks that go in a row: pluses, checkmarks, karakuli,” Shurshev said, adding that now in the ballots of the voice are given for representatives of United Russia. Because of this, the voting results have changed dramatically: the Navalny headquarters team now does not go to the municipal council.

Representatives of the Yabloko party and the United Democrats project also report to such violations, from which hundreds of city opposition members participate in the elections. So, the head of the Yabloko campaign, Maxim Katz posted on his twitter a message from one of the candidates, who complained that when recalculated, the members of the commission “pinched” the vote from each candidate and added them to the representative of United Russia.

In addition, observers from opposition movements prevent the monitoring of the vote counting - young people of sports physique simply close the tables from them where they process ballots.

The speaker of the St. Petersburg parliament Vyacheslav Makarov announced on September 8 that, according to the results of the United Russia polls, he was confidently leading in the municipal elections. In turn, the “United Democrats” said that according to the results of processing protocols by 18:00 on September 9, 144 of his candidate won.

The Governor of St. Petersburg also has not yet called the final results of the election of the Governor of St. Petersburg, but after processing more than 95% of the protocols, Alexander Beglov is gaining 64.58% of the vote. Dmitry Medvedev had already congratulated Beglov on the election of the governor.
