In the Kemerovo region, the Central District Court of the city of Prokopyevsk terminated an administrative case under the article on disrespect for the authorities (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) against a local resident Ivan Abramov. It is reported by Taiga.info.
In response to a request from the publication, Judge Pavel Kotykhov said that the dismissal of the case was due to the expiration of the deadlines for bringing Abramov to justice.
According to Taiga.info, the man published “statements expressing clear disrespect for state power” on the morning of March 24, 2019. At the same time, the materials of his case were received by the court only on August 5. The term for bringing to administrative responsibility under part 3 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses is three months.
Abramov told Taiga.info that he posted a post on VKontakte expressing dissatisfaction with the current regime and Putin's activities. The man deleted the post itself, after the prosecutor's office "explained the situation to him, what and how."
